Hi, I'm Lu.

I began photographing in 2018 when my godson was born, simply wanting to preserve the sweetness of his earliest days. At the time, I was studying accounting and working as a paraeducator with special needs children, taking sessions part-time whenever I could. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much deeper. I took the leap into full-time photography in 2020 — and yes, the pandemic followed shortly after. Timing aside, it refined my vision and strengthened my commitment to building something meaningful. I’ve never been drawn to just one niche; I believe in documenting the full story — from beginnings to growing families and every chapter in between.

Motherhood is the heartbeat behind everything I create. As a mom to miracle IVF twins, I understand how sacred and fleeting these seasons are. I’ve intentionally built businesses — including my microbakery — that allow me to live slowly, create thoughtfully, and be present at home. Whether through light-filled imagery or handcrafted sourdough, my work is rooted in connection, legacy, and preserving what matters most. My hope is not just to photograph milestones, but to build lasting relationships and create images that feel like home — honest, beautiful, and enduring.
